First 9 days spent in the Trossachs. Place called Shannochill, near Aberfoyle. Our thanks to Val and George for their hospitality. We can only wish we stayed forever. Starting and Ending point of cruise - Palma, Mallorca. Not as commercial as we expected. Busy shopping centre and lots to see and do. First port - Tunis, Tunisia. Very Interesting. People are very friendly, if a little persistent, but a great place to visit. We wish we had longer, and will return someday for a lengthier stay. 2nd port - Civitavechia, Italy. Near Rome, we decided to wait to return to Rome when we had more time, and instead visited Rapallo and St. Margarita and enjoyed the 16th Century Castle and the boat trip on the lake. 3rd port - Portofino, Italy. Morning, we went to Genoa, in the afternoon, sat on the harbour and eat pizza and drank italian beer, fantastico! A most beautiful port. Our favourite for pure aesthetics. 4th port - Nice, France. We stayed in Nice to enjoy the promenade and the interesting shopping and markets. A real money place, extravagance being the order of the day. 5th port - Barcelona, Spain. The most exciting part of the cruise trips. Helicopter flight over Barcelona. A most fabulous city. The Nou Camp stadium, Sagrada Família, Olympic Port and Stadium, Columbus Monument, all relvealed from way up high... Mary & Domenick's Website
